I knew I found the right person when I found her website. I really gravitated towards the fact that she asks you questions about yourself, what you love about your "soon to be" and your love story. Her communications skills we're amazing and it felt like talking to your favorite aunt.
We chose to elope and I literally had not one friend or family member there but her presence gave comfort when I started feeling anxious.
If we could do it all over again I would change some things but one thing I would have zero doubts in was hiring Gigi to marry us.

From the beginning Gigi was great to communicate with for the surprise vow renewal to my wife of twelve years.
We had everything in line of what we wanted and the day came I had to play it off very well to keep the surprise, we were walking on the beach pretending to be lost looking for a restaurant and there was Gigi and her crew with Ukulele musician and photographer standing on the shore from afar enjoying the sunset as we walked up my wife realized what we were up to and broke down crying. "I found Gigi on Instagram while searching Hawaii wedding hashtags. Our first wedding photog/officiant was supposed to send us the contract and then we never heard from them again. (That's a whole other story.) Anyway, I was feeling a bit desperate and worried that our elopement wouldn't happen because all I was finding were these really cheesy Hawaii wedding sites with mediocre (at best) photography. Then after hours of poring over Yelp and Google, I turned to Instagram and hit the jackpot with Gigi. I sent her an e-mail and she called me within a few short minutes. I immediately knew that she was the one for us, and even though it was stressful that our first company went MIA, we both felt that it worked out for the best.
Gigi was so great both on the phone and via e-mail. We chatted regularly leading up to elopement, and she was a HUGE help with all of the planning and decision making. Part of the reason we wanted to elope was to keep the day low stress and easy, and Gigi definitely helped make that happen for us.
The day of also went off without a hitch. We got ready at her friend and assistant photographer's estate in Pahoa, which is breathtakingly beautiful. We took our time getting ready, which helped both of us remain relaxed and excited for the ceremony. Amber and Gigi helped me with my hair and make up and they did a really beautiful job. I was relieved the have the help and was so happy with the results.
Once we were ready, we drove a few minutes down the road to this gorgeous lava rock and black sand beach where we got married on top of the rocks with the ocean splashing behind us. It was surreal because the setting was so beautiful. We also saw a sea turtle and it rained a light fine mist, which are both blessings in Hawaiian culture.
In addition to be the wedding planner and head photog, Gigi is also the officiant. She wrote a beautiful ceremony for us that we honestly thought is perfect. She personalized the ceremony using the story of how we met and what we love about each other, and she even stepped away when we said our own written vows, which we both thought was a really nice gesture and it made the moment even more intimate. Gigi also did the lei exchange and recited the blessing in Hawaiian, which was also really sweet and special.
Gigi had two assistant photogs helping shoot during the ceremony (David and Amber), and then she joined them once she was done officiating. We have seen a few previews of the pictures and we are so excited to see the finished versions. We know they will exceed our expectations.
Gigi and her team made our day perfect and we are so grateful that we found her to help with our elopement. We highly recommend her--you will love her!"

"Outstanding work. Gigi is an incredibly talented artist as well as very patient, kind, funny and skilled at her work. I asked her if she could take a photo of me for my website as well as for business cards etc. Not only did she take the most incredible selection of photos which I love, but she also did a makeover before we started, so I felt a million dollars! Never having had a professional photo taken I was a little anxious as I don't usually like close ups. Gigi was wonderful in helping me relax and feel at ease both during the makeover which was a lot of fun as well as a huge boost for my self confidence, and during the photo shoot. Gigi's manner was gentle, kind and supportive at all times as she guided me through the photo shoot together with her wonderful kind assistant Jan, suggesting ways to sit and stand and where to look. As I love the ocean, we even went down the road to the beach where we saw the most beautiful turtles whilst taking pictures. It was absolutely magical!
The whole experience was an absolute delight and joy and I came away with my self confidence increased and a huge smile on my face as well as the most stunning pictures of myself that I have ever had taken.
I cannot recommend this experience highly enough - whether you want photos to use for work or social purposes or a wedding or an anniversary/birthday etc. Also if you just want to treat yourself to a new self image with a fabulous relaxing makeover and some stunning images. I also found out today that Gigi creates websites so I have asked her to give my website a makeover now that I have great images to put on it. (By the way - we are not related and I have never had the pleasure of her services before so my comments are all genuine)."

"Let's talk about Gigi! Don't you want pictures of that most precious day?? Not just any pictures, but ones that capture the very essence of how you, your soul mate, your family, and your guests feel and express that energy through something tangible and eternal you can always have to cherish the rest of your lives together. "Gigi along with an additional photographer captured every single moment from getting dressed, through the ceremony and pretty much all through the reception (this encompassed a window of many hours, mind you it was the day of the Kamehameha Parade). I don't even know where or how to start!! She is a great person, super friendly, super sweet, super positive, super professional, super passionate about what she does. I was so not excited for my wedding ( i know, lame! ) but Gigi turned it all around!
This is what happened:
I lived in Massachusetts for 12 years so I thought marriage procedure at the city hall was the same every where! But after calling department of health on Friday morning I found out i needed to find someone willing to marry me, because i would only get the marriage license from them. The sweet lady on the phone told me she would help me find someone on the yellow pages. I know super nice of her, BUT I didn't want just any random person to do it, so I turned to YELP. And that was THe Best thing i ever did!! I found Gigi!!! Her reviews were awesome and after reading a bit of who she was on her personal page I felt like I needed to have her. So I called, although it was last minute she made it happen. She made me feel at ease from the first phone call until the last text message telling me i was officially married. Her ceremony was so incredibly sweet, all the small details from the place where we met, to where we went ( water front just like i wanted), to all the great pictures she took. Everything was just perfect. I wish I could get married all over again! She made me feel like a real bride. Thank you so much Gigi!!!
